Craig Lindsay’s extensive design and artistic skills ensure clients of thorough plan review and evaluation. He guides clients through the construction process with respect for their budget and dreams. His team of professional subcontractors are committed to excellent communication and collaboration which create his legendary homes.

For 40 years Craig has been building fine custom homes. The last 30 years have been in the Truckee Tahoe area. Craig has the unique experience of personal knowledge in all phases of construction from designing, drafting, driving backhoe, foundation work, framing, plumbing and electrical, sheetrock, custom painting, finish woodwork, tile, wallpaper, etc. He is the rare Renaissance builder.

One of Craig’s favorite elements when working with owners is developing individual designs for their specific needs. He is keenly aware of efficiency, costs and aesthetic value. Because of his extensive design skills, he assists owners in their ideas and needs by providing cost effective ways to meet challenges.

Craig is passionate about the Sierra where he lives with his wife Peggy of 31 years and two sons Carson, 24 and Walker, 17. They have lived in Truckee since 1985. Craig and Peggy met as river guides in the late 1970’s. A 17-year search for river property anywhere in the Western U.S. led them to their home along the Truckee River.
